Industry Veterans Launch Enliven to Redefine Multifamily Real Estate

August 2023 — San Francisco, CA: Enliven Partners (Enliven), a new independent real estate company focused on multifamily housing in the Western US, has launched with two industry veterans at the helm. Specializing in acquiring, constructing and enhancing multifamily housing, Enliven aims to transform the real estate landscape by creating exceptional living environments that prioritize people's well-being. Founded by Matt Myzak and Seth Mallen, long-time colleagues with decades of success in the multifamily space, the company’s goal is to elevate communities, residents and investors through its “people-first” approach.

"At Enliven, we believe that the quality of people's living spaces is fundamental to their overall quality of life," says Myzak. "Our goal is to create a new model for multifamily real estate, one that benefits all stakeholders, whether that’s investors, residents or the broader community. At the end of the day, we will deliver residences that inspire, uplift, and enrich the lives of those who call them home."

Myzak and Mallen bring a combination of nearly five decades of real estate knowledge and experience to Enliven’s ambitious plans, with involvement in projects exceeding $25 billion. Their collective experience spans investment, development, construction, property management and asset management, including with such well known firms as Maximus Real Estate Partners, Rockpoint, Steller Management and Morgan Stanley.

Enliven’s business model is rooted in three core principles: putting people first pays dividends; community engagement drives success; and by investing wisely, everyone wins.

"Enliven is the culmination of our shared values, aligned vision and passion for creating meaningful spaces," says Mallen. "Our journey together over the past 15 years has driven us to establish a company that prioritizes people, partnerships and prudent investments. Exceptional service, collaboration and a disciplined and rigorous analysis of risks and benefits are at the heart of everything we do."
